The Waquoit Bay Reserve and WHOI are hosting a workshop on Tuesday, October 29 from 9:00am - 4:00pm at the WBNERR Visitor Center about the research that’s going on at South Cape Beach and carbon cycling in marshes in general. Presentations by local researchers and a researcher-led field trip to the study site at South Cape Beach and an introduction to WBNERR’s “Bringing Wetlands to Market: STEM Curriculum Linking Wetlands and Sea Level Rise” through hands on demos and activities. WBNERR staff will also debut two new activities using data from the research project at South Cape Beach. Come join us for this one day workshop.
