Join town conservation staff, engineers, and ecologists on a guided tour of the upper Quashnet River restoration site and learn the proposed plans to return the retired bog system to a connected river.

During the walk, share your ideas for using and accessing the area with the project team. Your input will help inform trail alignments, parking, signage, viewpoints, and the site’s long-term care and management.

The walk consists of 1 – 1.5 miles round trip on uneven terrain and is not universally accessible.

Kindly review the Upper Quashnet River Restoration Story Map to learn about the proposed restoration actions prior to the walk.

The project team greatly appreciates your input to help shape the river restoration, and we can compensate you for valuable time. April Wobst, Restoration Ecologist, Association to Preserve Cape Cod, will reach out to all who have registered. Contact April with questions regarding compensation, awobst@apcc.org
