Join us at the Waquoit Bay Reserve for a presentation to deepen your understanding of local archaeology during Massachusetts Archaeology Month. Massachusetts Board of Underwater Archaeological Resources’ (BUAR) Director, David Robinson, will talk about a recently completed study by BUAR and its research partner, Massachusetts Coastal Zone Management (CZM), to assess the threat to coastal cultural resources in the Commonwealth from flooding, erosion, and inundation. The current and projected future status of this threat and recommendations for proactive adaptive management approaches will be discussed.
