The Waquoit Bay Reserve maintains more than 1300 acres of protected land with more than 15 miles of trails in Falmouth and Mashpee. To help us take care of the Reserve lands, volunteers assist with monitoring activities on our trails.

Volunteers walk trails at South Cape Beach, the Quashnet Woods, and other Reserve areas, and report on any issues they encounter and/or interesting observations we can share with other Reserve visitors.

In addition to walking trails, our stewardship volunteers help with invasive species removal, trail maintenance, and/or general landscape activities on Reserve properties.  All training is provided by our Stewardship Coordinator, please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator if you would like to learn more.
