Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30PM – Recent Trends in Water Quality in Response to Urbanization across Waquoit Bay Estuaries
Researchers from MBL have been studying the input, distribution and fate of nutrients, and the responses of plankton in several Waquoit Bay estuaries with different levels of development. They have found marked differences in nutrients and phytoplankton in different areas, as well as differences in concentrations depending on the time of year. Hear about their findings and how they can be applied locally or globally.
