Join us in shaping a resilient Massachusetts at the 2026 Cape Coastal Conference.

Monday, April 13 – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Tuesday, April 14 – 9:00am – 1:00pm

The Challenge – We face the challenge of transforming our coasts to support communities as sea levels rise, storms intensify, waters warm, and heat waves and droughts become more frequent. Our region and state are implementing practical solutions to protect property and restore the natural environment to build resilient communities that can withstand and recover from these accelerating changes.

The Role of the Cape Coastal Conference – The Cape Coastal Conference serves as a forum to share and amplify this collaborative work by highlighting current efforts and creating space to cultivate partnerships among municipalities, state agencies, Tribes, scientists, businesses, non-profits, and community organizations.

The 2026 Conference Focus – The 2026 Cape Coastal Conference will unite practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders around a shared commitment to coastal restoration and climate adaptation. The conference will spotlight efforts to restore saltmarshes, wetlands, and seagrass, promote the beneficial use of dredged materials, strengthen biodiversity and local commercial fishing economies, and develop practical equitable strategies for flood adaptation and measuring project success.

Registration is free but required and will open in the coming weeks.
